As a Refrigeration Technician at The Bama Companies, you'll be the superhero of our production facility, ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine (or a well-chilled freezer!). From keeping our ammonia-based refrigeration systems humming to troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems and boilers, you'll be the go-to person for all things mechanical. Your knack for problem-solving and hands-on approach will be crucial in maintaining our facility's manufacturing systems at their prime.

What we're looking for in a BFD Refrigeration Technician, 3rd Shift
To succeed as a Refrigeration Technician at The Bama Companies, you'll need to bring a toolkit filled with essential skills. From your ability to decipher technical manuals and blueprints to holding a First Class Stationary Engineer license, your expertise will be crucial. Your knack for understanding Predictive Maintenance concepts and experience in maintenance within the manufacturing field (preferably in food) will set you up for success. Being able to handle emotionally charged situations with ease and having proficiency in HVAC system maintenance and repair will make you an invaluable asset. Top it off with a Refrigeration recovery license and a Six Sigma green belt, and you'll be well on your way to thriving in our fast-paced and rewarding environment in Tulsa, OK!
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
? ?Math and reading comprehension to understand and interpret technical manuals

? and schematics
? ?First Class Stationary Engineer license
? . ?Understands Predictive Maintenance concepts & can interpret PdM findings to ensure appropriate repairs are planned/executed
? ?Available for occasional travel to support technical development or other company needs ?Available for working any shift in a 24/7 food manufacturing operation
? ?5 years Maintenance experience in manufacturing
? preferably in the food industry ?Able to defuse conflict in emotionally charged situations ?HVAC system maintenance & repair
? ?Refrigeration recovery license
? ?Six Sigma green belt
