Remote Hybrid Accountant/Bookkeeper for Multi-Company Operations

Key Responsibilities
? Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts across several entities.
? Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
? Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
? Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
? Ensure adherence to GAAP and other regulatory standards.
? Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
? Monitor financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
? Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process.
? Implement and uphold internal controls to protect assets.
? Assist in the preparation of tax returns and regulatory submissions.
? Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects for the executive team.
Required Skills
? Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage, along with advanced skills in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

Qualifications
