Greater Malden Behavioral Health, Inc. is a leading provider of mental health services in the Greater Malden area. We are currently seeking a Remote or Office Medical File Organizer to join our dynamic team and play an essential role in organizing and maintaining our patient medical records.

As a Remote or Office Medical File Organizer, you will be responsible for ensuring that patient records are accurately organized, filed, and easily accessible to our healthcare professionals. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our patient care services.

Key responsibilities include :
? Organizing and maintaining patient medical records, both electronic and physical
? Ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate
? Creating and updating patient charts and forms
? Reviewing and auditing records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
? Retrieving and releasing medical records when requested
? Collaborating with other departments to ensure the timely and accurate processing of patient records
? Implementing and maintaining filing systems to ensure easy accessibility of records
? Assisting with data entry and data quality tasks as needed
? Participating in training and development programs to stay current with policies and procedures

Requirements :
? High school diploma or equivalent
? Previous experience in medical records management preferred
? Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office Suite
? Strong organizational and time-management skills
? Attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
? Excellent communication and teamwork skills
? Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
? Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations preferred
