Senior Payroll Analyst (Remote)

We are currently hiring a Senior Payroll Analyst to help grow our company and ensure our mission is achieved!

YOU ARE: Responsible for processing the bi-weekly payroll with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. As a successful candidate for this role, you will have a strong attention to detail and a working knowledge of payroll policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate payroll records and performing other payroll-related financial activities within our organization.

YOUR DAY TO DAY:
? Responsible for processing our bi-weekly payroll timely and in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and adherence to company policies
? Audit payroll to ensure accuracy with data integrity
? Calculate and process complex and high-visibility transactions, including multi-state adjustments, bonus taxation and retroactive adjustments
? Generate payroll reports for management and regulatory agencies
? Provide a high level of customer service when responding to payroll inquiries in a timely manner, collaborating with the People team, Finance and other departments as needed
? Research and analyze complex payroll issues, develop solutions and communicate with employees and internal stakeholders
? Assist with processing payroll journal entries into accounting software
? Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations
? Understanding of multi-state taxation and garnishments
? Compile payroll data as requested for internal and external audits

YOU'LL BRING:
? Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance OR
? 5+ years of work experience processing high-volume multi-state payrolls
? Experience using Workday Payroll and Time and Attendance is a plus
? Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and be able to multi-task
? Excellent knowledge of Excel
? Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills effectively communicating across department and all levels
? Demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality
