Pay, Schedule, and Location
? Starting at $65,000 to $85,000/yearly
? Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
? Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
? Located in Houston, TX

Duties and Responsibilities
? Month-End Close: Lead and ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end close procedures.
? Payroll Processing: Administer payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance with local and federal laws, and timely disbursement.
? Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage day-to-day AP and AR functions, including invoicing, payments, collections, and ensuring proper documentation for all transactions.
? Contractor Payments: Ensure accurate and timely payments to contractors, adhering to company policies and agreements.
? Collections: Assist in the collection of overdue payments from clients while maintaining positive client relationships.
? Accounting Software: Use Dell Tech or Ageria software (or similar tools) to perform accounting tasks, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
? Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of accounting duties.
? Collaboration: Work closely with the accounting team and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and operations.

Requirements and Qualifications ? Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close. ? Skill Set: Strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity. ? Software Knowledge: Familiarity with accounting software (Dell Tech, Ageria, or similar). ? Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with contractors, clients, and team members. ? Project or Engineering Background: Preferred experience in engineering or project-based industries. ? Work Ethic: Honest, reliable, and motivated to contribute to the company?s success without being overqualified for the position. ? Preferred Qualifications: ? Experience in engineering or project-related accounting environments. ? Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
