Fortinet Network Support Analyst (Sunday - Thursday, 3rd Shift)

Akkodis is partnering with a local automotive entity who is aiming to hire a network support analyst on a remote, contract basis. Shifts available are 7pm-4am and 10pm-7am EST, Sunday to Thursday.

? TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and subnetting
? Routing and switching (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
? VLANs and network segmentation
? Firewall configuration and security policies
? VPNs (IPSec, SSL, site-to-site, remote access)
? Wireless networking (Wi-Fi standards, configuration, troubleshooting)
? Cloud networking (AWS/Fortinet)
? Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, SNMP, SolarWinds, and Guardian)
? VoIP and unified communications
? Network automation and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
? Layer 1 physical troubleshooting
? Layer 2/3 switching & routing
Fortinet Network Infrastructure
? FortiGate Firewalls ? Configuration, security policies, UTM features (IPS, AV, Web Filtering)
? FortiSwitches ? VLANs, trunking, link aggregation (LAG/LACP), STP, 802.1X authentication
? FortiAP (Access Points) ? SSID configuration, WLAN security (WPA2/3, RADIUS), captive portal setup
? FortiExtender (FEX) ? LTE/5G connectivity, WAN failover, SD-WAN integration
? Fortinet Management & MonitoringFortiManager ? Centralized management of Fortinet devices
? FortiAnalyzer ? Log collection, event correlation, SIEM integration
? FortiNAC ? Network access control (NAC) implementation
? SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow ? Performance monitoring and logging
